How to create an order in Zapier using Google Sheets and Cloudprinter.com

Using Google Sheets to store your orders? How easy would it be to automate your process and get everything printed globally? Here is how to do it with the help of Zapier.

To complete this integration you need to have an account with both Zapier and Cloudprinter.com

Follow these steps to connect your spreadsheet with Cloudprinter.com:

  1. Go to Zapier and press the button Create Zap
  2. For the trigger app, select Google Sheets and the event New spreadsheet row
  3. After you have logged in to your Google account, choose the Spreadsheet and the Worksheet.
  4. Next, you need to set up an action. For this find Cloudprinter.com in the list and log in to your account.
  5. Choose the action that will happen when the trigger appears, in our case, it is Create Order.
  6. The next API mode page will offer you two options — Sandbox and Live. Sandbox is a test mode with which you can test the whole process. When the process is successful, you can change the mode to Live and post real orders using this Zap.
  7. After that, you should link appropriate fields from the spreadsheet that will correspond to relative fields in Cloudprinter. Choose the row that corresponds to the order reference and email.
  8. Next, choose the preferred shipping option, and select the product category and options. (In one zap you can link only one product, for a product with other options you will need to create another zap, which can be duplicated from the first one and updated)
  9. At this step, you need to link the appropriate row that corresponds to quantity and insert the link to your product PDF and MD5 of your product PDF (you can check this online by using the MD5 generator).
  10. Link all fields to the appropriate rows in the spreadsheet. This information will be used for shipping and for receiving tracking information.
  11. When finished filling in all the fields, you can Test Action. If everything is good, it’s time to Publish Zap.

Hooray! Your Zap is now ready and you can use it to make new orders in Cloudprinter.com.
