Follow these simple steps to design and prepare your Mug for print:
1. Choose Mug type
Currently, there are a few Mug types available — ceramic, enamel or magic. A Mug magic is a Mug printed with oxidized ink so that it changes colour when filled with hot liquid. If you opt for a Mug ceramic or Mug magic, you can choose a white or a black Mug but also a white Mug with a colourful handle and the innner part (black, blue, red, green, orange, pink). If you opt for a Mug enamel, you can choose a white colour for your Mug.
2. Choose Mug size
Currently, the available Mug parameters are:
- capacity 11 oz (0.3 l);
- height 9.4 cm (3.701 in);
- diameter 8 cm (3.150 in).

3. Choose the printable area
The available print area sizes are:

Mug enamel: 210 x 65 mm (8.268 x 2.559 in);

Mug ceramic: 200 x 88 mm (7.874 x 3.465 in);

Mug magic: 71 x 90 mm (2.795 x 3.543 in).
You can either choose a full-size picture or place a smaller one within the limits of the print zone while designing your Mug. However, we're extending the number of available print area sizes, so check the available print area sizes before sending your Mug for global print with Cloudprinter.com.
4. Prepare Mug file for printing

- Set 300 DPI resolution;
- Choose RGB colour model;
- Save the file in PDF/X-4.
