What is a PDF FIX?
PDF FIX improves and adjusts your files to match Cloudprinter product templates. The system automatically adjusts the files to product specs on the backend.
This way, you minimise the chance of issues with your orders and save time adjusting your files to Cloudprinter product templates.
Whenever you upload a file that does not match the product specs, the PDF FIX steps into action. It spots an issue and automatically changes the product file without changing the content.
Key features of PDF FIX:
- add bleed or trim boxes
- adjust cut contour where required (for stickers, photo tiles, and aluminium wall decors)
- rotate pages
- scale PDF file
- split spreads to pages
- put the book cover and page block in separate PDF files
- add blank pages to match the product specs, i.e. the total number of pages in a perfect bound book is divisible by 2, brochure and magazine by 4.
Note: The PDF FIX will choose solutions that we will approve with you beforehand once different issues occur. Afterwards, you will not see the updated file version. All the changes will occur after you submit the files to Cloudprinter.com.
